AC Shear Test
To test for acromioclavicular pathology
The patient is in sitting position while the examiner cups his or her hands over the deltoid muscle with one hand on the clavicle and the other on the spine of the scapula. The examiner then squeezes the heels of the hand together. Abnormal movement is a positive test.
